Looking for the Typical Andalusian Village? Frigiliana is for you.

Saturday, September 6th, 2008

Yesterday we went to Frigiliana, a little village close to Nerja, in the Axarquia.

When you went to Frigiliana, you feel the silence and beauty of this white village on the Costa del Sol.  One of the most curious things is there are a lot of germans in Frigiliana. Germans have opened shops, pubs, restaurants…

Frigiliana offers a lot fantastic views, and in this village you can find a a lot of shops where buy typical and unfamiliar things: olive oil, honey, sweet wine, flamenco dresses, but you can find tarot cards or lamps with pumpkin shape too!

Benalmadena Pueblo

Sunday, August 31st, 2008

Benalmadena Pueblo is one of the most beautiful and typical andalusian style villages. Narrow streets, geraniums, all the visual ideas associated with Andalusia can be found in this Costa del Sol town.

You can taste a good coffee in the little pubs with terraces, have a good and typical meal in many restaurants, and language is not a problem, in a large number of them, employees speak english.

Anyway, we cannot forget there are a large English community all over the Costa del Sol, and they will be pleased to help you for anything you need ;-)
